Area of Work
I am a statistician in the BioSS group based at The James Hutton Institute in Dundee where I am involved in the provision of consultancy and training for plant science.
This often involves design and analysis of experiments mainly in a mixed model context. Some of my recent work has involved statistical issues in the processing and use of hyperspectral data for phenotyping. I also have experience with metabolomics data and more recently some work on genetic data for QTL, GWAS and Genomic Prediction.
