I worked for BioSS, based at the James Hutton Institute in Dundee, from 1988-2021. My main research interest was in crop genetics, in particularly linkage analysis and QTL mapping in polyploid crops such as potato and blueberry. This included the development of our user-friendly software programs TetraploidMap for Windows and TetraploidSNPMap. I am now mostly retired, but still writing up some research for publication with BioSS and Hutton colleagues.
