I am a Research Scientist working at BioSS since October 2023. I am currently looking at some diet-based studies, focussing mainly on red meat consumption, mycotoxins, and snacking habits in different age groups. After completing my PhD in the molecular epidemiology of lung cancer at the University of Liverpool, I worked as a Statistician/ Epidemiologist at the University of Dundee for 9 years looking at retrospective patient data collected on infectious diseases and kidney diseases, antibiotic use on care homes, in Tayside and Fife, and antihypertensive drug use in people with type 2 diabetes. I also worked on a clinical trial that looked at symptoms monitoring in cancer patients.
