Dr Rachael Duncan
Statistician in Animal Health and Welfare

Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland
JCMB, The King's Buildings,
Peter Guthrie Tait Road,
EDINBURGH, EH9 3FD, Scotland, UK.

I have been a Statistician for Animal Health and Welfare since July 2023 using statistical methods appropriate to the problem at hand.

For more information on BioSS activities in this area see BioSS Animal Health and Welfare.

Before working at BioSS, I did my PhD at Lancaster University looking at how we can make use of modelled data to infill missing data to have a complete observation data set and how well-established tools for dealing with large amounts of data work for spatial data sets. My main research interests are dealing with missing data and understanding the underlying process of the data.
