Charges for BioSS 'In Person' Training Courses

We can arrange bespoke in-house courses out with our standard SEFARI   programme described below. Charges for these are by negotiation. Please contact us if you are interested.

BioSS courses for SEFARI scientists 

SEFARI collective staff and doctoral students (i.e., those based at SRUC, James Hutton Institute, Rowett Institute, Moredun Research Institute and RBGE) and RESAS staff are not charged for attendance, as this is covered by Scottish Government funding.

For those outside the SEFARI collective / RESAS

Where there are additional spaces available, other participants are very welcome.  Charges for the standard programme are as given below, with Scottish Government funding allowing discounts for some participants:

• The standard charge for SEFARI programme course attendance is £300 per day. No VAT is chargeable.
• Participants from UK publicly funded organisations benefit from a 35% discount (i.e. charge is £195 per day).
• Postgraduate doctoral students at UK universities benefit from a 50% discount (i.e. charge is £150 per day).

Charge for BioSS 'Getting Started in R' Online Course

SEFARI collective staff and doctoral students (i.e., those based at SRUC, James Hutton Institute, Rowett Institute, Moredun Research Institute and RBGE) and RESAS staff are not charged for attendance, as this is covered by Scottish Government funding.

For those outside the SEFARI collective and RESAS, the standard charge for course participation is £240. No VAT is chargeable.

Participants from UK publicly funded organisations benefit from a 35% discount (i.e. charge is £156).

Postgraduate doctoral students at UK universities benefit from a 50% discount (i.e. charge is £120).
