I am a PhD student in the MAC-MIGS CDT at the University of Edinburgh. My research is in the application of statistical methods to movement ecology. In particular, seabird movement modelling for better behavioural inference. My PhD supervisory team is from the University of Edinburgh and BioSS.
Over the past months of working on my research, the much-appreciated support of Dr. Adam Butler and Dr. Esther Jones from BioSS has shown me the importance of a balanced intersection between theoretical and applied statistics.
I am excited and look forward to leveraging more on this platform in my remaining PhD years.
