I work on environmental and ecological applications of statistics, collaborating with soil scientists, ecologists, catchment scientists and socio-economists. Much of my work is funded through the Scottish Government’s RESAS research programme but I am also involved in contract work for agencies such as NatureScot, SEPA, JNCC and FSS. I have a particular interest in the design of environmental monitoring schemes.
