I am based in Edinburgh at the BioSS Headquarters. A major component of my work is the provision of statistical advice and support for crop variety assessment in the UK. I provide statistical consultancy for researchers at the Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) in Edinburgh and also statistical support to SASA.
Over the years I have provided support for researchers in a range of application areas which have also included animal behaviour and welfare, and design and analysis of sensory profiling trials of food and drink.
I also contribute to the BioSS programme of statistics courses for research scientists. I am particularly interested in experimental design.
