Recently I have started to learn Julia but over the last few years I have programmed pretty much exclusively in R (previously it was predominantly Fortran and matlab). I have written a couple of R packages, microPop and stagePop, described in links below and I have also added some general R programming pages (e.g. on using ggplot2 and igraph) in case they are of use.
For more software see my gituhb repo
R packages
- microPop for modelling microbial populations and communities.
- I have also developed a R Shiny App to visualize the microbial networks contained in microPop.
- stagePop for modelling stage structured populations (time-delay ODEs).
- PCN for modelling potato cyst nematodes
Some presentations on programming in R:
- Brief Intro to ggplot2 (html) (and the R markdown file)
- Brief Intro to igraph (html) (and the R markdown file)
- Using latex syntax in R (html) (and the R markdown file)
- Writing an R-package
- Writing Tests (by David Nutter)
