The Marine Alliance for Science and Technology for Scotland (MASTS) held their Annual Science Meeting in Glasgow from 8th – 10th November 2022.

Ana Couto and Katherine Whyte attended the conference, and contributed to different events:

• Ana Couto gave a talk on her PhD work entitled “Hydrodynamic drivers of fish school behaviour in high energy tidal sites”, and participated in a discussion session on “The influence of large scale offshore renewable developments on bottom-up ecosystem processes”.
• Katherine Whyte contributed to organising events as part of the MASTS Renewable Energy Forum, including a networking session and panel discussion on “Enabling the Energy Transition within the Blue Economy”.
