We are thrilled to announce we are now partnered with the Bayes Centre.

The Bayes Centre is the University of Edinburgh's Innovation Hub for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. BioSS joins a community of over four hundred internationally recognised scientists, outstanding PhD students, leading industry experts and innovation support professionals, working together across disciplines and sectors to advance data technology and apply it to real-world problems. The goals of the Bayes Centre are to use data science education, tech entrepreneurship, and multidisciplinary research to boost the centre’s impact across Scotland, the UK, and internationally, a strategy which aligns with our vision at BioSS.

We believe in the power of collaboration, sharing our research skills with partners working in the agricultural, biological, environmental and social sciences. We bring to the Bayes Centre our expertise in a wide range of data science methods, and our strong history of working collaboratively with a wide range of organisations, both academic and non-academic, in the public and private sector.

Looking to the future, this partnership with the Bayes Centre is an exciting opportunity for BioSS, aiming to leverage new, long-lasting collaborations with the Bayes Centre and associated networks, given the latter’s unique areas of expertise, and build on the new opportunities that this partnership offers.
