Our colleague Ana Couto had the opportunity attend the "INLA: past, present, and future. A workshop in honour of Håvard Rue’s 60th birthday”, where she presented a poster entitled “Comparing modelling approaches for estimating resource selection in central place foraging species”. The poster showed some of the work the Offshore Renewables Group is doing under the PrePARED project (Predators and prey around renewable energy developments).

Louise Blackman, a PhD student from the Offshore Renewables Group and University of Glasgow, also attended and presented a poster at the conference “Building spatial population dynamics models using the SPDE approach”. It was a great chance to exchange ideas and receive feedback on their work.
