BioSS at Ento24
Our colleagues Katharine Preedy, Dave Miller and John Addy had a fascinating day of talks and workshops at the Royal Entomological Society’s annual conference, Ento24 where they caught up with collaborators past, present & future.
The conference was held last week in Liverpool and included plenary talks by Michael Samways (Stellenbosch University, South Africa) on "Caring for irreplaceable insects: effective conservation strategies in biodiversity hotspots", Susanne Foitzik
(Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany) on "(Co)Evolution and molecular regulation of ant behaviour, chemical and life history traits", and Steve Torr
(Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine) on "The Tsetse problem: harnessing vector behaviour & ecology to provide solutions".
