Our Director Prof. Mark Brewer participated in the 7th València International Bayesian Analysis Summer School (VIBASS7) that took place in Valencia (Spain) from 8th to 12th July 2024. 

Prof. Brewer has been a member of the Organizing Committee of this prestigious Summer School since the initial edition in 2017, and is now one of the instructors of the course. 

This year’s edition also featured a special session dedicated to Bayesian modelling for economic evaluation of healthcare interventions, presented by Prof. Gianluca Baio (University College London, UK). The other presenters at the event were Dr. Alicia Quirós (Universidad de León, Spain), Dr. Thomas Opitz (Inrae, France), Prof. Virgilio Gómez-Rubio (Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Spain), Facundo Muñoz (Cirad, France) and BioSS Associate Prof. Carmen Armero (Universitat de València), who also chairs this annual event.
