State-space plot
The figure shows a state-space plot of the
logistic-kappa map time series (red circles) and the
kernel centres (blue lines). The horizontal axis
represents the present value of the time series, x(t),
while the vertical axis represents the future value x(t+1).
The data of the time series have been centred, that is,
shifted by -0.5.
