I am a consultant statistician with 20 years of experience. Prior to BioSS, I worked in industry in molecular modelling and plant breeding. I have been at BioSS since 1998.

I am responsible for developing BioSS’s portfolio of clients and am the Quality Manager.  My main scientific roles at BioSS are in the UK system for plant variety assessment and registration and as the statistical consultant to Science and Advice for Scottish Agriculture. I also take on a number of other projects and am a member of various national and international committees. My research interests are in the development of methods for phenology.
