A randomisation test can be used when testing the statistical significance of differences between observations from two or more groups.
The test is particularly useful where the data do not follow the assumptions underlying some common statistical tests e.g. approximately Normal in the t-test.
If you cannot find the tools to do a randomisation test in your favourite statistical package then it is not difficult to program.
