Diagnostic plots following an analysis of variance are available by selecting Plot from the Analysis of Variance menu. The dialog box shown below appears.

As for the Results box, just choose one plot or more by clicking in the appropriate box. The output shown below is a graph box in which you select the plot you want to see:

These different plots assist in visually checking some of the assumptions of the analysis. The plot of residuals against fitted values displays whether the residuals are distributed with constant variance. If the residuals are becoming more variable as the fitted values increase, then a transformation of data may be necessary.
