INTRODUCTION TO BASIC STATISTICS IN SAS |
|
SAS/Insight is a module of the SAS System but it provides a higher level of interactivity than other modules. It is useful for defining, exploring and analysing data quickly and easily.
The pages which follow do not assume any previous familiarity with the statistical ideas covered, or with SAS. Here SAS/Insight is just used to do the statistical calculations and draw graphs in the analysis of several example data sets.
If SAS is accessible from your computer, then these notes can be used to best effect by opening a SAS session alongside your Web browser window and, as you move through the pages, performing the SAS operations as described in the notes.
