HOW TO RUN EXCEL

To begin click on the Excel icon on your desktop :

A workbook is like a file into which you can place as many worksheets (where data is entered, manipulated and printed) as memory allows. Dialog sheets (for the creation of customised dialog boxes), and module sheets (for editing and recording macros) can also be placed in workbooks.

Excel can establish links between objects in different workbooks and remote links with other applications which allows automatic updating to occur.

When an analysis tool is applied to a dataset, you are given the option of saving the output table to the same sheet as the input, to a separate sheet in the same workbook, or to another workbook. The output can easily be moved afterwards by using the cut and paste commands and formatted as desired.
