Education Background

Working Experiance

From 2000 to 2003, I worked as a Data Analyst and Software Developer, mostly worked on the analysis of a group of stock indexes based on their trading information. From 2006 to 2011, I joined an ESRC Research Methods Node based in Lancaster. I worked part-time as an RA and part-time for a PhD. The role of this research node is in ‘developing statistical modelling in the social sciences’. I worked closely with sociologists, criminologist, and psychologists. I developed my personal research interests in the analysis of longitudinal data, such as applications by mixed-effects modelling and mixture modelling. I also developed a new research interest in using item response theory (IRT) for multi-level data.
